Public Invited to Attend Doña Ana Fire Rescue Academy 7 Graduation April 16

Doña Ana Fire Rescue, DAFR will graduate 14 cadets at 2 p.m., Thursday April, 16. The public graduation ceremony will be held in the auditorium of the Doña Ana Community College East Mesa campus.

Throughout the rigorous 24-week academy, cadets earned certifications in Hazmat Awareness and Operations, Emergency Vehicle Driving, Vehicle Extrication, Wildland Firefighting and Basic Emergency Medical Technician, EMT training.

Following the graduation, new firefighters will complete a one-year probation period in the field.

The 7th graduating class of the DAFR academy is comprised of the following: Ricardo Andrade, Garrett Espiritu, Daniel Flores, Bianca Garcia, Alan Gomez, Matthew Granados, Andrew McLellan, Marcus Natera, Alejandro Ortiz, Abel Perry, Angel Perry, Oscar Saenz, Cameron Sowards and Erick Terrazas.
