Montana Parkinson-Lubold Named to CUSA All-Academic Team

DALLAS – NM State’s Montana Parkinson-Lubold has been named to the 2026 Conference USA Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team, the league announced Friday afternoon.

Parkinson-Lubold is one of 12 student-athletes across Conference USA to earn the honor, with six schools represented on this year’s list. Delaware led the way with three selections.

A standout both on the court and in the classroom, Parkinson-Lubold has been a key contributor for the Aggies throughout the 2026 season. The sophomore biochemistry major carries an impressive 3.971 GPA while competing in all 17 matches for NM State. She has played across the lineup in singles at the No. 2, 3 and 4 positions, while also holding down the No. 2 doubles spot.

On the court, Parkinson-Lubold boasts a team-best 9-3 singles record along with an 8-4 mark in doubles play. She highlighted her season with a dominant stretch, winning five consecutive singles matches from Feb. 2 to March 5, securing victories over Texas State, UTSA, New Mexico, ACU and Utah Tech.

With her selection, Parkinson-Lubold continues a strong tradition of academic excellence for NM State women’s tennis. The Aggies have now had a representative on the CUSA All-Academic Team every year since joining the conference in the 2023-24 season, following back-to-back honors from former Aggie Lisa Zhu
