SUNLAND PARK, NM — The Gadsden Independent School District Board of Education has officially selected Nubia Tarazona as the district’s next Superintendent following a comprehensive search process that included community input, stakeholder engagement, and formal interviews with finalists.

Nubia Tarazona brings a strong background in educational leadership, with a demonstrated commitment to student achievement, equity, and community engagement. Nubia Tarazona has served as the Interim Superintendent of Gadsden ISD over the past several months, providing steady leadership and continuity during a critical period for the district.
