Amnesty Week: Free Residential Waste Drop-off Event April 27-May 4

From April 27 – May 4, 2026, residents can dispose of household trash FREE at the Amador Transfer Station from 8 AM – 3 PM

Please note:

• Residential loads only
• Household trash only
• Amador Transfer Station only
• Valid only during listed dates/times

Not accepted for free dump:

• Medical waste
• Hot ashes or coals
• Tires, vehicle parts or car batteries
• Fluorescent light bulbs
• Large yard waste (stumps, trunks)
• Concrete, bricks or rocks
• Hazardous materials
• Toilets, sinks or refrigerators with refrigerant
• Animal carcasses
