Doña Ana County is calling on local businesses to participate in the 2026 Summer Enrichment Internship Program (SEIP), which connects high school students with paid, hands-on work experience across the community.
The deadline for businesses to submit an interest form has been extended to May 5 giving employers additional time to take part in the program.

The Summer Enrichment Internship Program helps build a strong local workforce by giving students the opportunity to gain real-world experience while allowing businesses to mentor and develop future talent. Participating employers benefit from fresh perspectives, increased community visibility, and the opportunity to invest in the next generation of workers.
There is no cost to participate. Businesses provide a professional environment for the students. New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) provides the funding and infrastructure.
Businesses of all sizes and industries are encouraged to apply. Submit your interest by May 5, through the Employer Interest Form. For more information, visit
