Motorists and visitors to City facilities should plan for temporary parking disruptions as two City-owned parking areas undergo maintenance later this month.
The Community of Hope Campus parking lots at 999 W. Amador Ave. will be restriped on Thursday, June 18, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The work will be completed in phases, with portions of the parking lots temporarily unavailable throughout the day.
According to the City of Las Cruces, Phase 1 work areas will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., while Phase 2 areas will be closed from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Additional parking areas may be worked on between or during the scheduled phases.
Visitors and employees who park on the Community of Hope Campus are encouraged to seek alternate parking while maintenance is underway.
Later in the month, the City parking lot at the southeast corner of North Campo Street and East Hadley Avenue, adjacent to Las Cruces City Hall, will close Monday, June 22, for pothole repairs.
The lot is expected to reopen Tuesday, June 23.
Motorists who regularly use either parking area are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time during the temporary closures.
