Former Mesilla Marshal Intern Graduates from New Mexico State Police Academy

The graduation marks the completion of academy training and the beginning of Lopez’s service as a New Mexico State Police officer.

A former Crime Scene Investigator intern with the Mesilla Marshal’s Office is beginning a new chapter in law enforcement after graduating from the New Mexico State Police Academy.

The Mesilla Marshal’s Office announced that Nevaeh Lopez, who previously participated in the agency’s Crime Scene Investigator internship program, graduated June 17 as a member of the New Mexico State Police 107th Recruit Class.

“Former Mesilla Marshal Crime Scene Investigator CJ intern, Nevaeh Lopez graduated yesterday, June 17, from the New Mexico State Police Academy,” the agency said in a social media post. “A huge accomplishment.”

The graduation marks the completion of academy training and the beginning of Lopez’s service as a New Mexico State Police officer.

New Mexico State Police welcomed members of the 107th Recruit Class during a graduation ceremony this week, thanking families, friends and instructors who supported recruits throughout their training.
