The Fourth of July holiday is one of the busiest times of the year for lost pets due to fireworks and increased activity. Microchipping provides a permanent form of identification that can help shelters quickly locate pet owners.

Pet owners are encouraged to arrive early, as free microchipping services will be available on a first come first served basis for the first 100 dogs.

Even the calmest pets can become anxious in unfamiliar environments. For the safety and the safety of others, please keep dogs on a leash or secure carrier throughout the event.
