Gus Vlachakis Park Playground Safety Surfacing Repairs Scheduled July 10

The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled repairs of the rubberized safety surfacing at Gus Vlachakis Park for Friday, July 10, 2026.

The playground will be closed during the repairs and the required curing time of the new safety surfacing material. The public is asked to adhere to all project postings and stay out of the repaired/barricaded playground area.
