LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Visitors to the East Mesa Public Recreation Complex should expect temporary changes next week as construction continues on the baseball facilities and the playground closes briefly for a City promotional photo shoot.

Beginning Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17, contractors will begin work at 4 a.m. each morning in the baseball area while pouring concrete during the cooler overnight and early morning hours. City officials said the early schedule is necessary to ensure the concrete can be properly placed and finished and advised nearby residents and park visitors that construction noise may be more noticeable during those hours.
