SANTA FE – The feature film “Miss You, Love You,” which was filmed in Albuquerque and Placitas, has been nominated for an Emmy Award in the Outstanding Television Movie category, highlighting another nationally recognized production made in New Mexico.

According to Film New Mexico, the production employed more than 100 New Mexicans, including approximately 50 crew members and 75 background performers, during filming. State officials said the nomination reflects both the diversity of projects being produced in New Mexico and the depth of the state’s experienced film workforce.

Written and directed by Jim Rash, the HBO Films drama stars Allison Janney and Andrew Rannells. The story follows a grieving widow who is forced to make funeral arrangements with the assistant of her estranged son after he declines to attend.
Production began in New Mexico in early 2024, with filming taking place in and around Albuquerque and Placitas. The project is one of dozens of feature films and television productions that have chosen New Mexico locations and crews in recent years, continuing the state’s role as one of the nation’s busiest production hubs.
