Doña Ana Fire Rescue extinguishes fire at abandoned Chaparral home

Firefighters extinguished the fire and remained on scene to monitor for hotspots before clearing the area.

Doña Ana Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at what appeared to be an abandoned home in Chaparral, where crews worked to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and remained on scene to monitor for hotspots before clearing the area. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
