Las Cruces Fire Department Honors Lt. Robert Pedersen Upon Retirement

According to the department, Pedersen was honored during a retirement celebration attended by family, friends and fellow firefighters.

The Las Cruces Fire Department recognized Lt. Robert Pedersen this week as he retired following nearly two decades of service with the department. Pedersen joined the department as a member of Academy 24 in 2006 and spent his career serving the Las Cruces community through emergency response, training and leadership.

According to the department, Pedersen was honored during a retirement celebration attended by family, friends and fellow firefighters. Fire department officials credited his professionalism, commitment and contributions to the organization throughout his career.
