Motorists traveling throughout southern New Mexico and the El Paso area should prepare for construction, lane restrictions and several full roadway closures during the week of August 9–16.

The NMDOT District One Anthony Patrol is getting Anthony Drive crack sealed before the chip seal crew arrives. It’s been an all-hands-on-deck effort, and a training opportunity as most of the crew learned the crack sealing process, adding another valuable skill to their toolbox. Investing in training and teamwork means stronger crews and better roads for the communities we serve. (Courtesy NMDOT via Facebook)
