The following story was originally prepared for the Fall 2025 quarterly print edition of the Las Cruces Digest. Although that edition was never published, the story remains worth sharing — particularly as NM State volleyball prepares to take the court for a new season.
A note on print: Las Cruces Digest print editions are transitioning to an annual publication schedule. The 2026 Annual is expected to be published November 27, 2026.
