Planned improvements include a new High Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) signal crossing on W. Amador Avenue at the Armijo Lateral along with new raised medians, signage, striping, curb ramps, and street lighting. The HAWK signal system will provide pedestrians with an improved and protected multi-lane crossing point by stopping busy vehicular traffic along W. Amador Avenue.
