SANTA FE – Central New Mexico Media Arts Collective (The MAC) will have its grand opening on Sept. 1, at the Albuquerque Rail Yards in Downtown Albuquerque.

The renovation of The MAC has taken over two years and $40 million appropriated by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and the Legislature.

The Rail Yards facility will serve as a joint home for both organizations, featuring:
- Flexible-use production spaces, classrooms, workshops, and screening rooms.
- Dedicated MAC office space and collaborative areas with CNM
- The event will mark the opening of the Eric Witt Media Arts Center, a 20,000-square-foot soundstage and training hub designed to support New Mexico’s media talent in film, television, digital media and emerging technologies.
