County Opens Interest Form For Community Monitoring Committee Related To Project Jupiter 

The interest form is now available at donaana.gov/projectjupiter. Community members interested in serving on the committee must complete and submit the interest form by August 31, 2026.

Doña Ana County is accepting interest forms from community members that would like to serve on the Community Monitoring Committee related to Project Jupiter. 

The interest form is now available at donaana.gov/projectjupiter. Community members interested in serving on the committee must complete and submit the interest form by August 31, 2026. 

The committee will consist of 11 members total: two representatives from each County Commission district, as well as one additional member from anywhere in the county appointed by Commission Chair Manuel Sanchez.

Following the August 31 deadline, County Commissioners will review the submissions and appoint the official members of the Community Monitoring Committee. 

Service on the committee is voluntary, and members must disclose any financial interest, employment or other affiliation related to any entity associated with Project Jupiter, either in support or in opposition to the Project. 

Doña Ana County encourages all community members who are interested in helping provide community input and oversight to complete the interest form before the August 31 deadline.
