The Branigan Cultural Center invites high school students from the Las Cruces region to apply for the Annual All-City High School Art Show, opening in Spring 2027. This juried exhibition offers selected students the opportunity to showcase their artwork in a professional museum setting, where it will be on display for two months in the Branigan Cultural Center. As one of the museum’s featured exhibitions, participants will have the opportunity to share their work with hundreds of visitors from the local community and beyond.
Applications are open to all juniors and seniors currently enrolled in a Las Cruces public, private, or charter high school, or homeschooled students residing in Las Cruces. Enrollment in an art class is not required. All qualified submissions will be considered, with a limited number juried for display in the exhibition, on view March 5 through May 8, 2027, at the Branigan Cultural Center. Accepted artists will be eligible for Best in Show, First Place, and Second Place awards with monetary prizes across four categories. Submissions will be accepted from August 21, 2026, through January 22, 2027.

Students may submit five art pieces in any artistic medium, including (but not limited to) painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, digital art, and mixed media. All submitted artwork must be a completed original piece created while the student is in high school and must not infringe on copyrights or include AI-generated components.
Proposals must be submitted via SurveyMonkey. Beginning August 21, the application form will be available at https://www.SurveyMonkey.com/r/LCMS-HSAS or through the Las Cruces Museums website at https://www.LasCruces.gov/HSAS. A parent/guardian or teacher certification is required. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
The deadline for submissions is January 22, 2027, at 5 p.m. (MDT). For more information, visit LasCruces.gov/Museums or email Analisa Torres, Exhibit Curator at ANTorres@LasCruces.gov
