Traffic Advisory: 5K Run on Shalem Colony Trail Saturday

If you’re traveling in the area, please slow down, use extreme caution and watch for runners in or near the roadway.

Drivers traveling on Shalem Colony Trail this Saturday, August 29, should expect possible traffic delays as about 200–300 runners take part in a scheduled 5K run.

• Route: Participants will gather at the Elephant Ranch near Picacho Avenue and Bamert Road, travel north on Shalem Colony Trail to Valley Drive, and return to the Elephant Ranch.
• Time: Approximately 9:00–11:30 a.m.

DASO Deputies will be assisting with traffic control throughout the event.

If you’re traveling in the area, please slow down, use extreme caution and watch for runners in or near the roadway. Allow extra time to reach your destination and be alert for changing traffic conditions.
