Prep Football: Las Cruces, Mayfield Set for Friday Night Rivalry at Field of Dreams

The Bulldawgs and Trojans will kick off at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, with stadium gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and review important game-day information before heading to the stadium.

One of Las Cruces’ most anticipated high school football matchups returns to the Field of Dreams Friday night as Las Cruces High School takes on Mayfield High School. 

The Bulldawgs and Trojans will kick off at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, with stadium gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and review important game-day information before heading to the stadium. 

Las Cruces High School will serve as the home team, while Mayfield High School will be the visiting team. LCHS families and fans are advised to park on the west side of the stadium and MHS families and fans can park on the east side of the stadium. Please refer to the map below for details.

Tickets Available Online Only 

Las Cruces Public Schools utilizes GoFan for all athletic ticket sales. Cash sales will not be available at the stadium, and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance using this link.  

Clear Bag Policy in Effect 

LCPS’ Clear Bag Policy will be enforced at the Field of Dreams. Fans should review the district’s clear bag requirements before arriving to help expedite entry into the stadium. 

Food and Beverages 

Outside food and beverages, including reusable drink containers such as Stanley or Yeti cups, are not permitted inside the stadium. Unopened bottles of water are allowed. Concession stands will be open throughout the evening.
