The New Mexico Army National Guard was truly honored to spend the morning with the incredible Class of 2027 at Atrisco Heritage Academy High School (Aug. 27) and Rio Grande High School (Aug. 28).
Watching the sunrise alongside these dedicated seniors as they kick off their final year of high school was an unforgettable experience. “Sharing in the excitement, dreams, and energy of our community’s future leaders reminds us why we are so proud to serve the great state of New Mexico.”
A very special shout-out and heartfelt thank you to Sgt. 1st Class William Wadsworth for generously volunteering his time and bringing his personal hot air balloon to elevate the celebration.
In a message to the seniors at Atrisco Heritage and Rio Grande, New Mexico National Guard made the following statement: “Make this year count, reach new heights, and know that your community is standing behind you every step of the way!”
