Parks & Rec Announces 2026 Adult Indoor Volleyball League

Online registration opens at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will be offering Adult Indoor Volleyball League at Meerscheidt Recreation Center. Divisions include Women’s, Co-Ed Competitive and Co-Ed Recreation.

Online registration opens at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
League play runs November 2 – December 21, 2026.
Space is limited and registration is first come, first served.

The fee is $40 per participant. Proof of age and a Parks & Recreation Annual Waiver are required to register. League registration is online only at LasCruces.Gov/Play.

League Divisions and Format

  • Women’s Division:
    • League Play: Six league games with teams playing one game per night.
    • There are no separate competitive and recreation divisions during league play
    • Tournament Format: Teams will be separated based on league performance once tournament play begins. (2 tournament games guaranteed)
  • Co-Ed Competitive:
    • Six league games followed by tournament, 8 games guaranteed.
    • Teams play two games per night on Tuesday or Wednesday and will not play both nights in the same week.
    • No female-touch rule.
    • Minimum of two women must be on the court at all times.
  • Co-Ed Recreation:
    • Six league games followed by tournament, 8 games guaranteed.
    • Teams play two games per night on Thursday or Friday and will not play both nights in the same week.
    • Female-touch rule applies.
    • Must have even amount of males and females on the court at all times.

Online Registration

  • Registration opens at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 (or until online capacity is met).
  • When registration opens online, only Team Managers should register their team to reserve a spot.
  • Once your team has been registered, the League Director will contact each Team Manager with instructions to
    • Submit a complete team roster.
    • Ensure all players have completed a valid participation waiver.
    • Notify players to complete their individual registration and submit their team payment in person to finalize their spot on the roster.
    • Registration for the league is available online at www.LasCruces.gov/Play
