Two Assessed Following Plane Crash at Santa Teresa Jetport

Doña Ana Fire Rescue crews responded to a plane crash Thursday morning at the Doña Ana County International Jetport in Santa Teresa.

Emergency personnel assessed two people at the scene for minor injuries. Neither required transportation to a hospital, and both declined further transport.

No additional injuries were reported by Doña Ana Fire Rescue, and the runway was eventually reopened.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
