Mesilla Marshals Deputies investigated a Hit & Run vehicle crash versus several private properties along Avenida De Mesilla which occurred on September 18th, 2026 after 11 pm.
A 2023 red F-150 truck was seen by Mesilla Deputy accelerating from the Mesilla Town Plaza. The vehicle made a right turn from Calle De Parian southbound on Avenida De Mesilla at a high rate of speed, approaching Calle De Sur with a Mesilla depute in pursuit of the vehicle. The driver made a U-turn and continued north on Avenida De Mesilla at a high rate of speed and refused to stop for the deputy.

The red F-150 as driven in the pursuit caused debris, dirt and dust to be thrown into the air making visibility difficult. The truck crashed, emitting sparks and momentarily becoming airborne, then continued north on Avenida de Mesilla and turned west on Calle de Norte, eventually coming to a stop.
