NMSU Play Reading Offers an Early Look at ‘Perfect Arrangement’ September 25

Students, university employees and members of the Las Cruces community are invited to either take part in the reading or simply listen.

A play headed for the NMSU stage in October will first get a more informal introduction around the tables at Zuhl Library.

NMSU Theatre Arts and Zuhl Library will begin a Community Play Reading Series with Topher Payne’s Perfect Arrangement from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in the library’s second-floor commons.

Students, university employees and members of the Las Cruces community are invited to either take part in the reading or simply listen.

The event comes one week before NMSU Theatre Arts opens its full production of Perfect Arrangement on Oct. 2 at the ASNMSU Center for the Arts, giving participants an opportunity to encounter the play on the page before seeing it performed on stage.

The Community Play Reading Series will continue with additional readings Oct. 16 and Oct. 30.
