SANTA TERESA – A 19-year-old man was airlifted after suffering serious injuries in an ATV accident Saturday evening.

Sunland Park Fire Department crews assisted Doña Ana Fire Rescue at the scene off Pete Domenici Highway near Project Jupiter. The man was airlifted by El Paso Fire Department’s FireSTAR 1 helicopter.

Sunland Park fire crews cleared the scene at 6:44 p.m.

No additional information about the circumstances of the accident was released.
