New Mexico Reads: State Library Expands Digital Access Through Hoopla

Once an application is processed, the State Library will send the applicant an email containing a new library card number.

SANTA FE – New Mexicans can now access the New Mexico State Library’s NM Reads collection of eBooks and audiobooks through Hoopla using a Digital Library Card.

The digital card can be obtained online through the State Library website. Applicants can find the application under “User Resources,” complete the form and submit it electronically.

Once an application is processed, the State Library will send the applicant an email containing a new library card number.

Readers can then visit Hoopla, select NM Reads (NMSL) as their library and enter the card number to begin using the collection.

The State Library also provides several other free statewide digital resources through its website, including access to The New York Times, databases available through El Portal and programs through GetSetUp.
