A Cauldron Full of Spooky Events in our Broader Community

Here is a sample of Halloween events in our broader community this weekend.

By Levi Gwaltney for Las Cruces Digest

Halloween festivities are getting underway across our broader community, with a variety of Trunk or Treat celebrations scheduled for Thursday, October 29, and Friday, October 30. Families looking for a little spooky fun can explore the event posters below for locations, times and activities. The festivities continue Saturday, October 31, when New Mexico State University hosts trick-or-treating before the Aggies’ volleyball match against Delaware at the Pan American Center.

As reported in a previous article, the Las Cruces Fire Department will also be handing out free glowsticks on Halloween. The glowsticks are intended to be worn while trick-or-treating and will be available free of charge, while supplies last, on Saturday, Oct. 31, at all Las Cruces fire stations.

Thursday, October 29th

The Organ Mountain High School Facebook page also posted a “preview” video promoting a haunted house on October 29th from 6-8pm in the Theatre Room. Tickets are advertised at $3.

From keeping young trick-or-treaters safe on neighborhood streets to making sure the festivities remain enjoyable for everyone, a little preparation can help ensure that Halloween memories are filled with treats rather than tricks.
