Vehicle Crashes Into Sunland Park Residence, Dog Rescued

Fire personnel responded to a vehicle-versus-house crash in the 1100 block of Brass Hill early Wednesday morning after a vehicle struck a residence.

One person was evaluated at the scene following the collision. Fire crews also rescued a dog that was inside the home and worked to stabilize an exterior wall damaged in the crash. Personnel further assisted residents by covering a broken window while the scene was secured.

The incident was reported at approximately 4:11 a.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Sunland Park Police Department.

Photos released from the scene show the extent of the damage to the residence and the response efforts by emergency personnel.
