New Mexico families are being invited to put dinner on the table — and share the results — as part of the Family Meals Challenge on Facebook.

The challenge encourages families to prepare a meal featuring beef, then submit a photo or video of the meal in the comments of a Family Meals Challenge Facebook post.
Participants can enter more than once, with each submitted photo or video counting as an additional entry.
Meals can range from steaks and tacos to longstanding family recipes or an ordinary weeknight dinner. The emphasis of the challenge is on families preparing and sharing meals together.

One participating New Mexico family will be selected to receive an ice chest filled with beef.
Organizers are encouraging families throughout the state to participate by gathering around the table and sharing a glimpse of what they’re cooking.
