Separately, weather conditions across New Mexico have forced several high school soccer teams to postpone their final regular-season games until Monday, October 26.
As a result, the NMAA has moved seeding and selection for the 2026 State Soccer Championships to Monday evening. First-round tournament games are now scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, October 28–29.
The association has not identified which teams or regular-season games are affected by the weather-related changes.
Schools, athletes and spectators are encouraged to consult official NMAA communications for updated tournament information.
